Experience That Counts
I understand the needs of our children. I am a mother, a teacher, a volunteer and a community servant. This experience sets me apart for our school board. We need more PARENTS on our school boards, not political activists. Our children deserve an education that focuses on core curriculum, Reading, Writing, and Math and to feel safe and supported in our schools. I will work to meet the needs of all our children.
Cultivating Meaningful Partnerships
I will work to engage all stakeholders: community leaders, businesses, parents, teachers and administrators. Together we can meet the challenges facing our schools and work toward a future where every student thrives.
Putting Children First
Our school board must have a commitment to our children, not politics. I will work to create and foster programs that move our children ahead academically and help them build skills for the future that they will need to be successful. How many of our children go off to college have no idea what makes up a credit score, the impact of debt they can accrue while in college, how to budget or prepare for day-to-day life? We have an obligation to provide them with these commonsense skills and our school district must be a model of fiscal responsibility in our community.
